If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on White Salmon River, and there's some flowing
water close by, Wilson Creek is a stream you can explore while you're here. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Northern Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Nestor Peak Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Ice Cave Campground is a perfect spot for that, and let's not forget Moss Creek which is a stream that you may encounter during your stay.
