There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end which means you have the option of backpacking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Being 7.4 miles long it's an average length hiking and backpacking trail. The total elevation difference for this great outdoors trail is 2,261 feet, and that is about average. Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. The time needed for this walk is roughly 6.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This is a hiking trail that is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies.
