Washington hiking trails - Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail, Northern Cascade Range, King County

   
  We all need to get out in the outdoors once in a while, and Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail in King County, Washington is just the place. In Washington you never run out of outdoors fun. Every Washington backpacking trail is different from the others. Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail has a total elevation difference of 2,261 feet which is an average number. Different parts of Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail are at very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the hiking trail. Backcountry
    backpacking in Washington is always an exciting thing to do. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail is a mid-length backcountry trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough backcountry
trail for advanced trekkers looking for an excellent challenge. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end which means you have the option of trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 6.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Trails like this one here in the Northern Cascade Range are a very splendid way to see these summits. Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail is 7.4 miles long it's an average length hiking trail. Keep in mind that  
this is a long wilderness hiking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Glorious backpacking trails in Washington are in abundance, and Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail in King County is one of them. Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail is a wet place that gets much precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. At Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail all through the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail are in the 20's. Far from civilization you hit upon Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail, and it is a tremendous getaway from the city. There are so many backcountry trails in this area.

All the outdoors cool stuff next to Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail will keep you coming back time and again. A wonderful place to visit close to Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail is Windy Gap, and swing by George Creek it's a tremendous place to pop by.
There's so much to do here at Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Dry Creek Campground is a wonderful spot for that; if you came to camp The Dalles Campground is a great spot to do that. You can run the rapids of White River near Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail, and some of the water close by flows, like Meadow Creek. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Greenwater River is a nice whitewater spot close to Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail, and there's a forest here called White River Ranger District.
