The time needed for this backcountry hike is roughly 6.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. The total elevation difference for this hiking trail is 2,261 feet, and that is about average. Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail is 7.4 miles long it's an average length wilderness trail. Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail frequently gets a large amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that rains the  
most, and July on the other hand is the driest. There are plenty of trails in Washington; each one of them is lovely in its own way. This is a region covered with lots of wilderness trails. This is a long hiking trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Hiking and backpacking trails are great and plentiful in Washington; Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail in King County is one of them. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can trek it just one way. Soar down the rapids of White River in a kayak; close by you find Windy Gap which is a great spot to check out. If you come at the right time of year, Greenwater River offers some great whitewater; some close by water includes George Creek.
There's so much to do here at Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Dry Creek Campground is a delightful site for that; nearby you'll locate a wooded vicinity called White River Ranger District. And that's not everything you can do here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you came to camp The Dalles Campground is a nice place to do that; Meadow Creek is near Naches Pass-Greenwater Trail and is always a delight to have a look at.
