  Trekking in Washington is a brilliant way to spend some time. Every trail in Washington has its own unique loveliness. Outdoors people generally like this part of Washington. Wilderness trails are delightful and plentiful in Washington; Muddy River Trail in Skamania County is one of them. This great outdoors trail is a mid length great outdoors trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a glorious backcountry hiking trail for the average person looking for a glorious adventure. This is one of a very small number of backcountry
    hiking trails in this neighborhood. This great outdoors trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can hike it just one way. With its 4.2 miles of walking distance it's an average length wilderness trail. This hiking trail is not that long but you should
still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit, and if you happen to be in Skamania County of Washington, Muddy River Trail is a glorious local wilderness trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. The time needed for this backcountry trek is roughly 3.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. A great deal of rainfall falls at Muddy River Trail; December is when you get the most rain here while July is usually the driest  
month. Backcountry trekking here in the Northern Cascade Range is a really wonderful way to spend quality time in the outdoors. This great outdoors trail has a total elevation difference of 894 feet which is lower than average. Summertime highs at Muddy River Trail mostly tend to be in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while Muddy River Trail overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. There's not much difference in elevation along the wilderness trail which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. You'll need to go far from Hood River to get to Muddy River Trail, but hiking it is glorious amusement any time.

You'll need more than a day to discover everything Muddy River Trail has to offer, you can camp at Swift Forest Campground; unsurprisingly Clearwater Creek flows through this vicinity. There's so much to do here at Muddy River Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Curly Creek Campground is a great place for that.
Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Muddy River, and Lava Canyon is a pleasant place to spend some time. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Northern Cascade Range. A glorious site for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Muddy River Trail is Lewis River - North Fork, and there's some flowing water close by, Smith Creek is a stream you can visit during your stay.
