Washington hiking trails - Muddy River Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Skamania County

   
  Washington is an outstanding site for outdoors people. Every single Washington hiking and backpacking trail has its own unique prettiness. Going for a walk here in Washington is always an amusing thing to do. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. This walk shouldn't take more than 3.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Backcountry trails like this one here in the Northern Cascade Range are a very good way to see these mountains. Washington has plenty of great hiking and backpacking trails, and one of these is Muddy River Trail in Skamania County. You'll must  
go far from Hood River to get to Muddy River Trail, but when you spend some time backcountry backpacking here you will feel like a whole new person. You spend the whole hike in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your hike. When was the last time you got out in the great outdoors a bit? Muddy River Trail in Skamania County, Washington is an outstanding choice. Even though this is not a very long hiking and backpacking trail it's always good to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. This is one of a very small number of great outdoors trails in this area. A large amount of precipitation falls at Muddy River Trail; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month.

Why not camp at Swift Forest Campground while you're here at Muddy River Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Muddy River. Curly Creek Campground is a brilliant local campground, and it's a perfect idea to check out Smith Creek.
Why not stop at nearby Clearwater Creek since you're here at Muddy River Trail. So many amusing things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too perfect to be true. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Lewis River - North Fork, and Muddy River Trail is in close proximity to Lava Canyon which is without doubt worth visiting.
