You should count on this backcountry hike taking about 8.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Mount Cliffty Trail is many miles long with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a perfect hiking trail for experienced backcountry hikers in fine shape. There is only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry trek it normally. Here in the fine state of

The high level of rain makes Mount Cliffty Trail a quite wet location; most of the rain falls through January, and July on the other hand is the driest. This is just one of a large number of hiking trails in this area. There are plenty of backcountry hiking trails in Washington; each one of them is gorgeous in its own way. Now this hiking trail is pretty long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Backcountry trekking here in the Northern Cascade Range is a fine way to explore these hills. Being 9.8 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry hike. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go.

Pileup Creek is close to Mount Cliffty Trail and is always a pleasure to check out, and Windy Pass is a glorious place to take a look at. Take a little tour to Sand Creek since you're here at Mount Cliffty Trail; get soaked paddling on American River.
A good place to camp here at Mount Cliffty Trail is Longmile Meadows Campground, and a spree to Lost Meadow invigorates the spirit. Paddling on Little Naches River is so much fun; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at West Quartz Creek Falls. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Mount Cliffty Trail. Mathew Meadow is right here at Mount Cliffty Trail, and camping is available at Kaner Flat Campground.
If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range.
