adventure. This is one of a very small number of backpacking trails in this neighborhood. It's a lengthy trip from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue to Moraine Trail, but it is a wonderful wilderness trail. While visiting this vicinity in Washington it's a wonderful idea to go hiking too.

Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. The backcountry trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry trek. with much rain; November is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Moraine Trail through the summer months are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are
in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Moraine Trail are in the 30's. With its 2.4 miles of walking distance it's a short backcountry trail. The scenic trails of the Northern Cascade Range are a really great way to spend quality time in nature. Even though this is not a very
long hiking trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens.
Briefly about the general area: A spree to Moraine Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Narada Falls, and camping at Longmire Campground is always a fine experience.
So much fun stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not sufficient time. A short journey to Washington Cascades is always worthwhile, and Moraine Trail is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Cougar Rock Campground is a nice local campground. Edith Creek is one of the
streams nearby that might be worth visiting, and Paradise Park is a good place. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you haven’t been to Mount Rainier National Park, you must schedule some time for it since you're here. You'll wish for more
hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Moraine Trail. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Butter Creek, and there's some flowing water close by, Pebble Creek is a stream you can pop by while you're here. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Skate Creek, and a fine spot close by is Wilson Gully.
