Miller Peak Trail is a backcountry hiking trail relatively far from Ellensburg, but it is a glorious refuge from the urban center. Trekking in Washington is the good thing to do.     some parts of the great outdoors trail could be very different from other parts of it. Miller Peak Trail is not that long but it's always great to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. Put on your hiking shoes, and hit the backcountry hiking trail, Miller
Peak Trail in Kittitas County, Washington is a glorious selection. The total elevation difference for Miller Peak Trail is 2,765 feet which is higher than average. Summertime highs at Miller Peak Trail regularly tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are generally in the 30's while Miller Peak Trail night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. This wilderness hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp  
fire. Miller Peak Trail gets very little rainfall; December is when you get the most snow here; July is when it's the driest. This hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be backcountry backpacking it in and back out. The length of this wilderness hiking trail is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes this trail perfect for the average trekker looking for a fun adventure. Backpacking and hiking trails for backpacking, and backpacking can be found all over Washington, and Miller Peak Trail in Kittitas County is one of them. There are plenty of hiking trails in Washington; each one of them is well worth a walk. The time needed for this trek is roughly 3.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This is one of a very small number of trails in this area. Trekking here in the Northern Cascade Range is a very brilliant way to see these peaks.

Briefly about the general area:
Gold Creek Basin is a wonderful spot; why not camp at Baker Creek Campground if you're here at Miller Peak Trail. There's some flowing water nearby, North Fork Bear Creek is a stream you can stop by while here, and South Fork Bear Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever want to return home again. A tremendous location for whitewater paddling next to Miller Peak Trail is Teanaway River - North Fork, and camping is available at Park Campground.
This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Ingalls Creek; you'll possibly meet some people from Ellensburg here.
