Briefly about the general area: Gold Creek Basin is a wonderful spot; why not camp at Baker Creek Campground if you're here at Miller Peak Trail. There's some flowing water nearby, North Fork Bear
Creek is a stream you can stop by while here, and South Fork Bear Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever want to return home again. A tremendous location for whitewater paddling next
to Miller Peak Trail is Teanaway River - North Fork, and camping is available at Park Campground. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Ingalls Creek; you'll possibly meet some people from Ellensburg here.
