  Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit, and Middle Fork Trail in King County, Washington is a brilliant selection. Backcountry backpacking here in Washington is something that is always fun to do. Because Middle Fork Trail is very distant from society, it is an enjoyable place to backcountry hike. Backpacking trails like this one here in the Northern Cascade Range are a very wonderful way to see these peaks. Middle Fork Trail ordinarily gets a lot of rain; December is when you get the most rain here; July is the month with the
    least moisture. This hike should take you about 2 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. For the period of the summer highs here at Middle Fork Trail get into the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are ordinarily
in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Middle Fork Trail. Middle Fork Trail is a hiking and backpacking trail of wonderful length having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough wilderness trail for advanced trekkers looking for a wonderful challenge. With its 12.2 miles of walking distance; it's considered a longer backcountry hike. This is just one of a large number of wilderness trails in this neighborhood. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Every Washington great outdoors trail is different  
from the others. There are many nice great outdoors trails in Washington, and Middle Fork Trail is one of them, and it's in King County. Middle Fork Trail is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. You spend the whole backcountry hike in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry hike. The total elevation difference for this backpacking trail is 903 feet which is lower than average. This is a one trailhead backpacking trail, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry trek. This part of Washington has a splendid deal of available outdoors things to do.

Briefly about the general area:
You can run the rapids of Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork next to Middle Fork Trail, and everybody loves Snoqualmie Pass. There's whitewater on Dingford Creek for all you adrenaline people, and Goldmyer Hot Springs is a charming site to explore while you're at Middle Fork Trail.
But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Middle Fork Trail. If you're here, you might as well explore Melakwa Pass, and a short tour to Dingford Creek Falls is always worthwhile. Why not camp at Commonwealth Campground while you're here at Middle Fork Trail, and getting to Thunder Creek from Middle Fork Trail is uncomplicated. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Looking for some flowing water? Try Goat Creek, and Snoqualmie National Forest is worth stopping at.
Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. West Fork Campground is a great local campground.
