A lengthy tour divides Pullman from Low Saddle Trail, but what a tremendous place for backcountry trekking it is. Low Saddle Trail is a very long hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a tremendous hiking trail for experienced backcountry hikers in good shape. We all need to get out in the outdoors once in a while, and if you happen to be in Asotin County of Washington, Low Saddle Trail is a tremendous local
    hiking trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. No chance of getting bored in Washington if you like the wilderness. Summertime highs at Low Saddle Trail usually tend to be in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to
the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Low Saddle Trail. Different parts of this hiking and backpacking trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This backcountry hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Low Saddle Trail is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. There are many delightful backcountry trails in Washington, and Low Saddle Trail in Asotin  
County is one of them. This is one of many hiking trails in the surrounding area. This backcountry trek should take you about 1.5 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. This hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 1,856 feet which is an average number. Wilderness trails like this one here in the Blue Mountains are a very great way to see these highlands. Not much rainfall falls here at Low Saddle Trail; the wettest month of the year is commonly January, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. Low Saddle Trail is 11.2 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry trek. This is a one trailhead hiking trail, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry trek.

There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Blue Mountains. Near Low Saddle Trail you find magnificent places like Slide Canyon; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Indian Springs. Low Saddle Trail is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Spruce Spring Campground is a great spot to camp nearby, and needless to say West Fork First Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth going to.
If you like the outdoors, you'll like Low Saddle Trail. Don’t forget to stop by Grouse Flat if you're here at Low Saddle Trail, and Chaparral Basin is a splendid site here at Low Saddle Trail. Visit East Fork First Creek since you're here at Low Saddle Trail, and a trip to Misery Spring will fill your spirit with perfect feelings. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is plentiful here in the Blue Mountains.
Misery Spring Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and if you come at the right time of year, Grande Ronde River offers some great whitewater.
