region. Lovers Lane is a two ended hiking trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can trek it just one way. Being 6.8 miles long it's a mid length backcountry hike. You spend the whole backcountry hike in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t
have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry hike. Here in Washington trekking is the brilliant thing to do. Backcountry backpacking here in the Olympic Mountains is a magnificent way to explore these summits. And keep in mind that there could be temporary
safety restrictions in location.

This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Drift down the rapids of Lyre River in a kayak. Paddling on Soleduck River - North Fork is so much fun, and hey, Canyon Creek is a glorious
local stream.
So many cool things to do in the Olympic Mountains, not sufficient time. If you came for an overnight stay Fairholme Campground is a brilliant site to camp, and everyone loves Bogachiel Park. Sol Duc Falls is an inspiring place to pop by while here, and this is
a popular place for folks from Port Angeles. Why not camp at Soleduck Campground since you're here at Lovers Lane; swing by Blackwood Creek it's a good place to take a look at.
