Washington hiking trails - Long Ridge Trail, Olympic Mountains, Clallam County

   
  This part of Washington has a tremendous deal of available outdoors pastimes. It's a lengthy trip from Port Angeles to Long Ridge Trail, but it's one of those places where hiking is good. When you're here in Washington backcountry hiking along one of its backpacking and hiking trails is something that is always fun to do. The warmest time of the year at Long Ridge Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at
    Long Ridge Trail dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. There are so many good backpacking and hiking trails for backcountry hiking in Washington, and among these are Long Ridge Trail in Clallam County. Each backpacking and hiking trail in Washington is striking in
its own way. Sometimes this great outdoors trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. The wilderness hiking trails of the Olympic Mountains are a very glorious way to see these mountains. This is a long great outdoors trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. This hike should take you about 6 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Long Ridge Trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out walk. Long Ridge Trail goes through  
some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 5,708 feet, and that is higher than average. This is one of many backpacking trails in the surrounding vicinity. This wilderness hiking trail is a wilderness hiking trail of glorious length having an average number of uphill miles which makes this backpacking trail fine for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Long Ridge Trail gets a large amount of water; through December this neighborhood sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Long Ridge Trail in Clallam County, Washington is such an outstanding place. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. With its 40.2 miles of walking distance; it's longer than many wilderness hiking trails.

Briefly about the general area:
A pleasant spree to Krause Bottom is a brilliant way to spend an afternoon, and you can run the rapids of Elwha River. Yeah, come up here to the Olympic Mountains for a tremendous time. Since you're here at Long Ridge Trail why not have a look at Grand Canyon; if you came for an overnight stay Altair Campgrounds is a good site to camp.
Be careful coming to the Olympic Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. There's whitewater on Elwha River for all you adrenaline people; there's some flowing water nearby, Fairchild Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area near Long Ridge Trail has to offer. You must have a look at Angeles Point when you're here at Long Ridge Trail; Press Valley is a glorious spot to stretch your legs a bit.
Soleduck Ranger District is a glorious local forest, and do put some time aside to spend at Service Falls while you're here at Long Ridge Trail. Lillian River is in the neighborhood of Long Ridge Trail and is always a bliss to check out, and the vistas at Olympic National Park will blow your mind. It's always tremendous to take a look at Winslow Spring, and Elwha Dam RV Park is a great campground nearby.
