This is just one of a large number of wilderness hiking trails in this vicinity. Little Wildcat
    Trail is a very long wilderness trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a nice wilderness hiking trail for experienced backcountry trekkers in great shape. The total elevation difference for this wilderness hiking trail is 1,780 feet which is an average number.
Great outdoors hiking trails are good and plentiful in Washington; among these are Little Wildcat Trail in Yakima County. A long tour parts Ellensburg from Little Wildcat Trail, but it is an amusing place to backcountry trek. This wilderness hiking trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry walk it normally. If you happen to be in Washington, why not go hiking, it is a glorious idea. Little Wildcat Trail is a relatively wet place typically with a lot of rainfall; throughout the month of January you get the most snow around here,  
and the driest of the months is July. Backpacking here in the Northern Cascade Range is a really great way to spend quality time in the wilderness. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. High temperatures at Little Wildcat Trail throughout the summertime are in the 60's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Little Wildcat Trail temperatures drop to the 10's. This trek should take you about 2 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. This great outdoors hiking trail goes through some very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the great outdoors hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it.

Briefly about the general area:
Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things near Little Wildcat Trail. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Tieton River - South Fork, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Bumping River. You have to absolutely dedicate some time to Rattlesnake Meadows while you're here at Little Wildcat Trail, and Twelve West Resort is a nice campground nearby.
Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Some of the water nearby flows, like McNeil Creek, and Rimrock Public Campground and Boat Landing is a fine local campground. And if that's not enough there's a lot more cool stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Little Wildcat Creek is a great local stream, and Indian Spring is always fun to check out.
A great spot like Fox Meadow here at Little Wildcat Trail is too great to miss, and Silver Salmon Cove is very near and is a tremendous place to check out.
