Trail. This trail is a very short trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a brilliant backpacking trail for the average person looking for a brilliant adventure. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Little White Salmon Trail sees pretty high
levels of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Little White Salmon
Trail is not that long but it's always great to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. The trails of the Northern Cascade Range are a really nice way to spend quality time in the fresh air. There's not much difference in elevation along the wilderness
trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry trek.

for more than one day, Elk Meadows RV Park is a splendid place to camp nearby. Ice Cave Campground is a tremendous local campground, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Hood River here.
