Washington hiking trails - Little Creek Basin Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Kittitas County

   
  There are plenty of wilderness trails in Washington; each one of them is well worth a backcountry trek. When you're here in Washington backpacking along one of its wilderness trails is something that is always fun to do. It's a long tour from Ellensburg to Little Creek Basin Trail, but it is a great getaway from the city. Little Creek Basin Trail is 8.2 miles long it's a mid length backcountry trek. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while, and Little Creek Basin Trail in Kittitas County, Washington is such a great site. The
    length of this backpacking trail is about average with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a magnificent hiking trail for experienced hikers in glorious shape. Through the summer here at Little Creek Basin Trail, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 60's. When
the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Little Creek Basin Trail tend to be in the 10's. Little Creek Basin Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,369 feet which is about average. You spend the whole backcountry trek in roughly the same elevation zone which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. There are so many glorious wilderness trails for backpacking in Washington, and one of these is Little Creek  
Basin Trail in Kittitas County. Little Creek Basin Trail is a pretty wet place generally with much precipitation; the month with most of the snow is January, and July on the other hand is the driest. Little Creek Basin Trail is a one trailhead hiking trail, so in and out is the way to hike it normally. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. If you are in Washington during backpacking season you have to go backpacking. This is a neighborhood covered with lots of hiking trails. This is a long backpacking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. The beautiful backpacking trails of the Northern Cascade Range are a really pleasant way to spend quality time in nature. The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 7.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that.

And that's not all there is to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you came to camp Longmile Meadows Campground is a wonderful spot to do that, and some of the water nearby flows, like Lookout Creek. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Little Naches River; you might also want to pay a visit to Windy Pass if you're here at Little Creek Basin Trail.
Little Creek Basin Trail is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Easton Resort and Club is a fine local campground, and there's whitewater on Cle Elum River for all you adrenaline junkies. Nelson Creek is a good local stream.
