Washington hiking trails - Lester Trail, Northern Cascade Range, King County

   
  Here in the good state of Washington hiking is something that is always fun to do. The time needed for this backcountry hike is roughly 5.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Throughout the summertime months here at Lester Trail, high temperatures commonly
    get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Lester Trail sink into the 30's. Different parts of Lester Trail are at very different elevations, so keep
in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in the fresh air a bit, and Lester Trail in King County, Washington is a wonderful choice. This is one of many wilderness hiking trails in the surrounding area. Lester Trail is a one trailhead wilderness hiking trail, so you're looking at an in and out trek. Being 6.6 miles long it's a mid length hike. Lester Trail has a total elevation difference of 3,791 feet which is a higher than average number. Lester Trail is a wet spot that  
gets a good deal of precipitation; December is when you get the most rain here, and July is when it's the driest. Lester Trail is a mid-length wilderness trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this wilderness hiking trail fine for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Each one of the many great outdoors trails of Washington has its own unique splendor. These wilderness trails here in the Northern Cascade Range are a really great way to spend quality time in nature. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. Keep in mind that this is a long wilderness trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Washington has lots of outdoors activities.

Briefly about the general area:
This is such a great river. It's a good idea to explore Wolf Creek, it's in the neighborhood of Lester Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit White River. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back many times. Soar down the rapids of Greenwater River in a kayak, and nearby you come across pleasant locations like Green Canyon.
Why not stop by close by Champion Creek since you're here at Lester Trail, and Lester Trail is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, The Dalles Campground is a perfect local campground. A pleasant spot to camp here at Lester Trail is Dry Creek Campground.
