This wilderness trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Laws Trail is 5.4 miles long it's an average length hiking trail. There
    are numerous backcountry trails in Washington, and each one is different from the others. Laws Trail being so distant from the most adjacent city, when you backcountry walk it you're always having a magnificent time. This backcountry hiking trail is a normal length backcountry
hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this wilderness hiking trail perfect for the average backcountry walker looking for a cool adventure. This is just one of a large number of wilderness hiking trails in this region. You spend the whole hike in roughly the same elevation zone which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. This backcountry trail sometimes gets very dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions  
with local forest authorities before you head out. The time needed for this backcountry trek is roughly 5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This is not a very long backcountry trail but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. The total elevation difference for Laws Trail is 1,006 feet which is an average number. At Laws Trail throughout the long summer days highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Laws Trail temperatures plunge to the 10's. Laws Trail is mostly a relatively dried out spot; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest of the months is October.

Tiffany's Resort is a pleasant local campground. Cargo Spring is always fun to check out; Laws Trail is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Fisherman's Cove Resort is a perfect place to camp nearby.
Do pay a visit to Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area while you're here at Laws Trail; getting to North Fork Trout Creek from Laws Trail is simple. Put some time aside to spend at Kelly Spring while you're here at Laws Trail, and some of the water close by flows, like West Fork Trout Creek.
