about the general area: Camping is available at Elmers Park. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Olympic Mountains. A good spot to camp here at Lake Creek Trail is Heart of the Hills Campground, and Elwha River is a perfect whitewater spot close by. Lake Dawn Dam is a place that is next to Lake Creek Trail, and do pay a visit to Olympic National Park while you're here at Lake Creek Trail.
