Washington hiking trails - Klickitat Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Lewis County

   
  When you're here in Washington backpacking along one of its hiking and backpacking trails is something that is always fun to do. With so many outdoors activities available in Washington you'll never get bored. There are plenty of hiking and backpacking trails in Washington; each one of them has its own character. The total elevation difference for this backpacking trail is 1,263 feet which is an average number. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in spot. The time needed for this trek is roughly 3.5 hours, but you never know
    stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Trekking here in the Northern Cascade Range is the best way to enjoy these hills. Klickitat Trail is not that long but it's always pleasant to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen.
This trail is a mid length trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes this great outdoors trail tremendous for the average hiker looking for an enjoyable adventure. There's not much difference in elevation along the wilderness trail which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. All the water falling down from the sky makes Klickitat Trail a wet place; December is the month that gets the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Relatively far from Hood River you come across Klickitat  
Trail, but it's one of those places where backcountry trekking is pleasant. This is a one trailhead backpacking trail, so in and out is the way to trek it normally. For the duration of the days of summer at Klickitat Trail temperatures are usually in the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows at Klickitat Trail all through the wintertime mostly fall into the 20's. Put on your backcountry trekking shoes, and hit the backcountry hiking trail, Klickitat Trail in Lewis County, Washington is a nice place for getting out. With its 4.2 miles of walking distance it's an average length wilderness trail. The number of great outdoors trails in this vicinity is not very high. Backcountry hiking trails are great and plentiful in Washington; Klickitat Trail in Lewis County is one of them.

Don't forget to take a perfect little trip to Swede Creek, and you must without doubt dedicate some time to Burton Meadows since you're here at Klickitat Trail. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go home again. Why not camp at Maple Leaf Campground while you're here at Klickitat Trail, and Mount Rainier National Park is a great local destination.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. It's a great idea to stop at Irish Creek, it's close to Klickitat Trail. Near Klickitat Trail you find splendid places like Dry Creek Pass, and if you come at the right time of year, Cispus River offers some great whitewater. Camping is available at Naco West, and float down the rapids of Cispus River - North Fork in a kayak.
