Washington hiking trails - Kincaid Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Lewis County

   
  There are numerous backpacking trails in Washington, and each one is different from the others. Gotta get out of the town man, and Kincaid Trail in Lewis County, Washington is a really great location to spend some time. In Washington you never run out of outdoors fun. Hiking here in Washington never gets boring. This backcountry hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 2,899 feet which is a higher than average number. Kincaid Trail is 15 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry trek. This is a long backcountry trail, so don't forget to pack
    enough supplies. The length of this trail is on the longer side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this backcountry trail glorious for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. This hike should take you about 2 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight
gear packed. The high level of rainfall makes Kincaid Trail a reasonably wet place; the month with most of the snow is January, and the driest month of the year is July. Good backpacking trails in Washington are in abundance, and one of these is Kincaid Trail in Lewis County. The gorgeous trails of the Northern Cascade Range are a very great way to see these mountains. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Kincaid Trail highs are commonly in the 60's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are  
mostly in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Kincaid Trail. This backcountry hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be backcountry backpacking it in and back out. Some parts of this backpacking trail are much higher up than other parts of the backpacking trail which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backpacking trail. Many miles from the nearest town you have Kincaid Trail, and it is one of many great backcountry hiking trails in this area. This is one of many backcountry trails in the surrounding area. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go.

Briefly about the general area:
All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Paddling on Summit Creek is so much fun; do take some time to visit Gifford Pinchot National Forest since you're here. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do near Kincaid Trail. If you came to camp Soda Springs Campground is a nice place to do that; a good place nearby is Carlton Pass.
Fish Ladder Falls is always fun to check out; get drenched paddling on Cowlitz River - Clear Fork. Camping at Knuppenburg Lake Campground is always a fine experience, and Log Spring is a great local attraction. Take a side spree to Allred Creek, and a tremendous spot like Cedar Flats here at Kincaid Trail is too great to miss.
Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a good time. You must pop by Cortright Point when you're here at Kincaid Trail, and do stop by Pony Creek since you're here at Kincaid Trail.
