Through the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Kelly Butte Trail are in the 30's. about the general area: Camping at The Dalles Campground is always a glorious experience, and swing by Lester Creek it's a great place to stop at. All the outdoors cool things in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back over and over. A glorious spot to camp
here at Kelly Butte Trail is Dry Creek Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend White River. Take a side trip to Sawmill Creek, and if you come at the right time of year, Greenwater River offers some great whitewater.
