Briefly about the general area: This river is so good. Greenwater River has a
nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and getting to Lester Creek from Kelly Butte Trail is painless. There's so much to do here at Kelly Butte Trail that you need to camp here for a while, The Dalles Campground is a good place for that, and whitewater paddling is great on
White River. All year is a great time in the Northern Cascade Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. If you came to camp Dry Creek Campground is a great site to do that, and some of the water close by flows, like Sawmill Creek.
