A short spree to Little Salmon la Sac is always worthwhile, and there's some flowing water nearby, South Fork French Cabin Creek is a stream you can have a look at while here. Kachess Ridge Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day
at, Silver Ridge Ranch is a wonderful local campground, and while you're here at Kachess Ridge Trail it's a fine idea to take a look at French Cabin Basin.

to pay a visit to Copper Pass since you're here at Kachess Ridge Trail; Salmon la Sac is an inspiring place to take a look at while you're here. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more entertaining things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. West Fork French Cabin Creek is a stream that you may encounter during your stay, and a pleasant visit to Domerie Flats is a fine way to spend an afternoon.
