Washington hiking trails - July Ridge Trail, Blue Mountains, Garfield County

All through the summer here at July Ridge Trail, high temperatures generally
    get into the 80's, and the overnight is quite cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at July Ridge Trail descend into the 20's. July Ridge Trail is not that long but it's always
perfect to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. July Ridge Trail is a location that is pretty dry frequently; January is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. This is a one trailhead hiking and backpacking trail, so you'll be backpacking it in and back out. Backcountry trekking in Washington never gets boring. This great outdoors trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This is one of many wilderness  
trails in the surrounding neighborhood. This backpacking and hiking trail is a normal length backpacking and hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a great wilderness trail for the average person looking for a great adventure. The total elevation difference for July Ridge Trail is 2,063 feet which is an average number. Sometimes this backcountry hiking trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. Backpacking here in the Blue Mountains is the best way to enjoy these mountains. This backcountry trek shouldn't take more than 4.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Washington is an excellent place for outdoors folks.

It's a magnificent idea to check out East Fork First Creek, it's close to July Ridge Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Misery Spring Campground is a magnificent place to camp; drift down the rapids of Grande Ronde River in a kayak.
