Washington hiking trails - July Ridge Trail, Blue Mountains, Garfield County

Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and July Ridge Trail in Garfield County, Washington is nature at its best. You should count on this backcountry trek taking about 4.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This is not a very long wilderness trail but it's always great to bring
    some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. With its 5.4 miles of walking distance it's an average length backcountry trail. The length of July Ridge Trail is about average with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a wonderful trail for the average

July Ridge Trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be backcountry trekking it in and back out. A lengthy journey parts Pullman from July Ridge Trail, but it is a wonderful sanctuary from the settlement. This is just one of a large number of trails in this region. There's so much to do here at July Ridge Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Spruce Spring Campground is a tremendous location for that; Misery Spring is a great local attraction. Paddling on Grande Ronde River is so much fun.
A quick visit to Saddle Creek in the vicinity of July Ridge Trail is a glorious idea. You'll need more than a day to explore everything July Ridge Trail has to offer, you can camp at Misery Spring Campground. And that's not all there is to do here in the Blue Mountains. East Fork First Creek flows through this area, and Jeffreys Spring is always fun to check out.
