and a pleasant trip to Indian Creek Meadows is a great way to spend an afternoon. So much cool stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not sufficient time. If you come at the right time of year, American River offers some good whitewater, and do set aside some time for Blankenship
Meadows if you're here at Jug Lake Trail. Lots of fun awaits you along this river. There's so much to do here at Jug Lake Trail that you need to camp here for a while, White Pass Campground is a magnificent site for that, and a fine location is Cowlitz Pass.
