Washington hiking trails - Jordan Creek Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Lewis County

   
  There are many good hiking trails in Washington, and Jordan Creek Trail in Lewis County is one of them. This part of Washington is always a diversion to take a look at during backpacking season. Here in Washington hiking is always an amusing thing to do. The total elevation difference for Jordan Creek Trail is 3,156 feet which is a higher than average number. This is a one trailhead backpacking trail, so in and out is the way to backcountry trek it normally. This is a region covered with lots of wilderness trails. Hiking here in the Northern Cascade Range is
    a very tremendous way to see these summits. Some parts of this backcountry hiking trail are much higher up than other parts of the backcountry hiking trail which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backcountry hiking trail.
It's a long trip from Hood River to Jordan Creek Trail, but it sure is a a tremendous wilderness hiking trail. Jordan Creek Trail is a trail of tremendous length with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this wilderness trail brilliant for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. For the period of the summertime here at Jordan Creek Trail, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 20's for  
Jordan Creek Trail. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. This backcountry trek shouldn't take more than 8 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Keep in mind that this is a long hiking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Every Washington hiking trail is picturesque in its own way. Being 9.2 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry trek. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Jordan Creek Trail in Lewis County, Washington is a tremendous place for getting out. All the water falling down from the sky makes Jordan Creek Trail a wet place; January is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July.

Briefly about the general area:
A great site like Jordan Basin here at Jordan Creek Trail is too great to miss, and needless to say Jordan Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth checking out. All year is a nice time in the Northern Cascade Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. River Bar Campground is a fine local campground, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Johnson Creek.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Jordan Creek Trail. Lily Basin is right here at Jordan Creek Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Chambers Lake Campground is a great place to camp, and don't forget to take a nice little tour to Mission Creek. Don't forget to stop at Hawkeye Point if you're here at Jordan Creek Trail, and Cispus River is a great whitewater spot nearby.
