The high level of rainfall makes Jolly Mountain Lookout Trail a quite wet place; the month with most of the snow is January while July is ordinarily the driest month. The time needed for this trek is roughly 9 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Briefly about the general area: Camping is available at Salmon La Sac - Wenatchee National Forest, and don't leave Jolly Mountain Lookout Trail without first paying a visit to Salmon la Sac. You can run the rapids of Cle Elum River next to Jolly Mountain Lookout Trail, and do stop at Middle Fork Paris Creek while you're here at Jolly Mountain Lookout Trail. So many cool things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too delightful to be true. Take a side trip to South Fork Paris Creek, and a trip to Little Salmon la Sac will fill your soul with perfect feelings. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Jolly Mountain Lookout Trail.
