Different parts of Indian Creek Trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. This is one of many backcountry trails in the surrounding

pleasant whitewater of American River. This is a really good river. While you're here at Indian Creek Trail it's a fine idea to explore Blankenship Meadows; you can run the rapids of Bumping River. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range.
While staying at Indian Creek Trail you could always look at Mosquito Valley, and you can stay the night at White Pass Campground. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Indian Creek Trail has to offer, you can camp at Bumping Lake - Wenatchee National Forest; getting to Sheller Creek from Indian Creek Trail is easy.
