Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these peaks. This is a wilderness hiking trail that is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Icicle Trail has a total elevation difference of 7,313 feet, and that is higher than average. This backcountry hike should take
you about 10 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. This is a region covered with lots of trails. Through the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 60's at Icicle Trail, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are
regularly in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Icicle Trail temperatures sink to the 10's.
Briefly about the general area: Just can't get enough of Icicle Trail. A fine forest in the neighborhood of Icicle Trail is Leavenworth Ranger District, and
do put some time aside to spend at Drury Falls while you're here at Icicle Trail. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you came to camp Johnny Creek Campground is a splendid place to do that; a trip to nearby Lake Lorraine Point is
very relaxing. While staying at Icicle Trail you could always explore Ladies Pass, and a pleasant tour to Timothy Meadow is a splendid way to spend an afternoon. This place, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors entertaining things. Get your pulse rate up on the
great whitewater of Icicle Creek, and why not stop at nearby Big Slide Creek if you're here at Icicle Trail. If you're here at Icicle Trail, you could check out Bob Creek. There's so much to do here at Icicle Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Ida Creek Campground is
a magnificent location for that. Soda Spring is a wonderful local attraction; Ewing Basin is a pleasant spot to stretch your legs a bit.
