the year this region sees very little rain, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. The warmest time of the year at Hurricane Hill Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's; overnight lows in the 30's for Hurricane Hill Trail. If you happen to be in Washington, why not go backpacking, it never gets boring. This backcountry hike should take you  
about 2 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. This is one of many hiking trails in the surrounding region. Hurricane Hill Trail is 11.8 miles long; it's a long hiking trail. Hurricane Hill Trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry hike it just one way. Now this hiking trail is pretty long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. A good deal of precipitation falls at Hurricane Hill Trail; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July.

Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Olympic Mountains. Krause Bottom is a delightful site here at Hurricane Hill Trail, and a tour to Winslow Spring will fill your soul with great feelings. Olympic National Park is a magnificent spot in the vicinity of Hurricane Hill Trail; you might also want to pay a visit to Geyser Valley since you're here at Hurricane Hill Trail.
This is such a wonderful river. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Elwha River. There's so much to do here at Hurricane Hill Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Altair Campgrounds is a glorious location for that. And if that's not enough there's lots more entertaining things to do in the Olympic Mountains. Some nice nature is available in Soleduck Ranger District; Long Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out. There's some flowing water close by, Hurricane Creek is a stream you can stop by during your stay; there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Elwha River.
That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Hurricane Hill Trail has it all. While you're here at Hurricane Hill Trail you will meet lots of people from nearby Port Angeles, and Hurricane Hill Trail is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Arney's Dam RV Park is a pleasant local campground. Coming to this river is always a good idea.
