Washington hiking trails - Huckleberry Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Skamania County

   
  Here in Washington trekking is the perfect thing to do. There are great outdoors trails all over Washington; among these are Huckleberry Trail in Skamania County. Finally, backcountry hiking time is here again, and Huckleberry Trail in Skamania County, Washington is a brilliant place for getting out. Huckleberry Trail is located a pretty lengthy journey from Hood River, but many people like to trek here to be next to the wilderness. Washington has so much to offer nature lovers. Through the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Huckleberry
    Trail, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Huckleberry Trail. This is an area covered with lots of great outdoors trails. With its 8.8 miles of walking
distance it's an average length backpacking trail. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in site. This backpacking trail goes through some very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the backpacking trail could be very different from other parts of it. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end which means you have the option of backpacking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Huckleberry Trail frequently gets a large amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls through  
December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Backcountry trekking here in the Northern Cascade Range is a really pleasant way to spend quality time in nature. Huckleberry Trail is a normal length backcountry hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough great outdoors trail for advanced backcountry walkers looking for an outstanding challenge. The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 8 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. The total elevation difference for this backcountry trail is 2,309 feet, and that is about average. There are numerous great outdoors trails in Washington, and each one has its own character. This is a long hiking and backpacking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies.

Warren Gap is a glorious location to go to nearby, and it's a brilliant idea to explore Eightmile Creek. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area in close proximity to Huckleberry Trail has to offer.
So many fun things in the Northern Cascade Range, just inspiring. Don't forget to take a fine little visit to Stub Creek, and Huckleberry Trail is not far at all from Hood River. This river is so perfect. Get soaked paddling on Wind River, and camping at Huckleberry Trail is splendid fun, Bigfoot Park is a splendid local campground. Cascade Locks Koa Kampground is a perfect campground here, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Panther Creek.
