long it's a mid length backcountry walk. Wonderful backcountry hiking trails in Washington are in abundance, and Huckleberry Trail in Skamania County is one of them. This backcountry walk shouldn't take more than 8 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Huckleberry Trail is to be found a quite long tour from Hood River, but it is one of many great backcountry trails in this neighborhood. During the warm days of summer highs here at Huckleberry Trail reach the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's  
usually in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Huckleberry Trail are in the 30's. This is one of many hiking and backpacking trails in the surrounding vicinity. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can hike it just one way. The high level of rainfall makes Huckleberry Trail a relatively wet place; most of the rain falls throughout December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Washington is a wonderful place for trekkers. The total elevation difference for Huckleberry Trail is 2,309 feet which is about average. Different parts of this wilderness trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations.

During your spree to Huckleberry Trail you'll meet some people from Hood River for sure, and paddling on Panther Creek is so much fun.
All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Getting to Eightmile Creek from Huckleberry Trail is trouble-free; get covered with water paddling on Wind River. Yeah, come here to Huckleberry Trail for a magnificent time. If you came for an overnight stay Dolce Skamania Lodge is a good location to camp, and some close by water includes Stub Creek.
