Washington hiking trails - Hoh River Trail, Olympic Mountains, Clallam County       When you're here in Washington backcountry trekking along one of its backcountry trails is a fine way to spend some time. There are plenty of backcountry trails in Washington; each one of them has its own unique attractiveness. Washington has lots of outdoors endeavors. Hoh River Trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be backcountry trekking it in and back out. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Hoh River Trail are in the 30's. Hoh River Trail gets a lot of water; most of the rain falls throughout November, and the driest month is July. This hiking trail is a hiking trail of good length, and it's pretty flat which makes this hiking trail splendid for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Hoh River Trail has a total elevation difference of 4,310 feet which is higher than average. Briefly about the general area: While staying at Hoh River Trail you could always explore Appleton Pass. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Olympic Mountains has to offer. There are plenty of people from Port Angeles here at Hoh River Trail, and Hoh River - South Fork is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. If you love the outdoors, you'll fancy Hoh River Trail. A brilliant place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Hoh River Trail is Soleduck River - North Fork, and a trip to Hoh River Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Marymere Falls. Having a tremendous time in the Olympic Mountains is uncomplicated. Why not check out close by Clide Creek while you're here at Hoh River Trail, and locations like Seven Lakes Basin are great to stop at. Why not camp at Hoh Campground while you're here at Hoh River Trail; Bogachiel Park is a tremendous place. A short journey to Sol Duc Falls is always worthwhile; do schedule some time to go to Olympic Peninsula if you have a chance. Camping is available at Soleduck Campground, and it's a nice idea to go to Cougar Creek.
