peaks. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit, and Hogback Trail in Yakima County, Washington is such a wonderful location. This is one of many hiking and backpacking trails in the surrounding region. The length of Hogback Trail is on the longer side
with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a good hiking and backpacking trail for experienced backcountry trekkers in brilliant shape. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Hogback Trail reach the 60's while nighttime lows are usually in the 40's.
Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hogback Trail.
Briefly about the general area: You just have to go for the Northern Cascade Range. Put some time aside to spend at Indian Spring since you're here at Hogback
Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Summit Creek. Man, is there plenty of fun things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. There are some nice whitewater spots on Tieton River - South Fork, and Hidden Spring is always fun to check
out. This river is so great. A tour to close by Cortright Point is very relaxing, and a pleasant journey to Tieton Meadows is a tremendous way to spend an afternoon. What a place this is for outdoors folks. White Pass is near Hogback Trail and is undeniably a pleasant spot
to stop by; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try South Fork Clear Creek. Blankenship Meadows is a stunning location any time of year, and you can stay the night at White Pass Campground. There's so much to do here at Hogback Trail that you need to camp here for a while,
Knuppenburg Lake Campground is a perfect site for that, and getting to North Fork Clear Creek from Hogback Trail is painless. Lots of fun awaits you along this river.
