to Hicks Butte Trail. Hicks Butte Trail is a two ended backcountry trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. The total elevation difference for this backcountry trail is 271
feet which is a lower than average number. This great outdoors trail is on the short side having an average number of uphill miles which makes this trail pleasant for the average trekker looking for an enjoyable adventure. The time needed for this walk is roughly 2.5 hours, but
of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Hicks Butte Trail is 2.8 miles long it's a short backcountry trail. Backpacking here in Washington is the delightful thing to do.

Hicks Butte Trail is a site with many visitors
from Ellensburg, and camping is available at Wish Poosh Campground. Camping at Trailer Corral is always a wonderful experience; some nearby water includes Disappointment Creek.
So many entertaining things in the Northern Cascade Range, just astonishing. If you don't mind getting
dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cle Elum River, and Butte Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out.
