  Every Washington backcountry trail has something unique to offer. Washington is a magnificent place for walkers. Wilderness trails are tremendous and plentiful in Washington, and one of those is Grizzly Bear Trail in Columbia County. Grizzly Bear Trail is to be found a rather long trip from La Grande, but it's one of those spots where backpacking is great. Grizzly Bear Trail is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies.     in Columbia County, Washington is such an outstanding spot. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. This backpacking and hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 3,837 feet, and that is higher than average. The backcountry trails of
the Blue Mountains are the best way to enjoy these mountains. At Grizzly Bear Trail all through the warm months highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are frequently in the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for Grizzly Bear Trail tend to be in the 20's. Some parts of Grizzly Bear Trail are much higher up than other parts of the hiking trail which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the hiking trail. This vicinity does get  
very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. From a precipitation point of view Grizzly Bear Trail is a relatively common spot; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while July is frequently the driest month. Grizzly Bear Trail is a very long backcountry trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a brilliant backpacking trail for experienced walkers in wonderful shape. Hiking in Washington is an excellent idea. This hike should take you about 3.5 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Grizzly Bear Trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry walk. With its 25.2 miles of walking distance; it's longer than many hiking trails.

Briefly about the general area:
There's whitewater on Grande Ronde River for all you adrenaline kick people; everyone loves Ant Flat. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Blue Mountains. A short tour to Meadow Spring is always worthwhile.
You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Blue Mountains. Squaw Creek is a pretty stream that is worth a visit, and Teepee Campground is a tremendous campground here. Box Canyon is next to Grizzly Bear Trail and is a good location, and Rock Spring is an inspiring spot to stop at while you're here. You truly should love Grizzly Bear Trail. Take a side journey to Rock Creek, and Grizzly Bear Trail is a great place to camp, Tepee Campground is a great place.
A river like this is too good to miss. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Grande Ronde River, and Ant Flat is a pleasant site.
