Grey Rock Trail stays
    roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole backcountry hiking trail. The high level of rain makes Grey Rock Trail a rather wet site; through January this vicinity sees the most rain, and the driest month of
the year is July. Backcountry hiking here in Washington is a must. This is one of a very small number of backpacking and hiking trails in this region. This backcountry trail has two trailheads, so backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. There are plenty of backcountry hiking trails in Washington; each one of them is different from the others. This backcountry hike shouldn't take more than 9 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could  
get stuck so be prepared for that. Grey Rock Trail has a total elevation difference of 803 feet which is a lower than average number. Grey Rock Trail is many miles long with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this backpacking and hiking trail magnificent for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Hiking trails like this one here in the Northern Cascade Range are a really perfect way to spend quality time in nature. During the warm days of summer here at Grey Rock Trail, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Grey Rock Trail. Now this great outdoors hiking trail is pretty long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies.

Briefly about the general area:
All year is a pleasant time in the Northern Cascade Range if you adore the outdoors. Why not pop by close by Spencer Creek since you're here at Grey Rock Trail; close by McLaine Canyon is a delightful site to go. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too tremendous to be true. Everybody loves Buckhorn Meadows. There's so much to do here at Grey Rock Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Peninsula Campground is a wonderful spot for that.
You can run the rapids of Tieton River - South Fork near Grey Rock Trail; it's a great idea to take a look at Fish Creek. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the area in close proximity to Grey Rock Trail has to offer. Soda Spring is an inspiring spot to take a look at while here, and do schedule some time to take a look at Ewe Neck if you have a chance.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Grey Rock Trail has to offer, you can camp at South Fork Campground, and a splendid location for whitewater paddling is Tieton River. A tour to Sleepy Park Meadow revives the spirit, and a short spree to Strobach Springs is always worthwhile.
