Washington hiking trails - Greenwater Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Pierce County

   
  A visit to Washington is not complete without some backcountry hiking. Hiking trails are nice and plentiful in Washington; one of them being Greenwater Trail in Pierce County. Far from civilization you discover Greenwater Trail, and backpacking is such an amusing thing to do, and this is a great location to do that. A lot of rainfall falls at Greenwater Trail; January is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. These hiking trails here in the Northern Cascade Range are a really good way to spend
    quality time in the great outdoors. This is a trail that is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. The total elevation difference for this hiking and backpacking trail is 1,028 feet, and that is about average. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping.
This trek shouldn't take more than 8 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. There is only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to hike it normally. This is a neighborhood covered with lots of wilderness trails. There's not much difference in elevation along Greenwater Trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole hiking and backpacking trail. The length of this hiking trail is on the longer side having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a wonderful wilderness trail for experienced  
walkers in great shape. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Greenwater Trail; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Greenwater Trail are in the 20's. Hey, time for a backcountry trek don’t you think? Greenwater Trail in Pierce County, Washington is just what you need. Every wilderness trail in Washington is different from the others. Being 9.2 miles long; it's a long hiking and backpacking trail. If you happen to be in Washington, why not go backcountry hiking, it is always an enjoyable thing to do.

Near Greenwater Trail you come across Windy Gap which is a tremendous spot to explore, and why not camp at Morse Creek Campground if you're here at Greenwater Trail. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. Visit Meadow Creek while you're here at Greenwater Trail, and there's a wonderful forest called White River Ranger District.
What a location this is for outdoors folks. Glide down the rapids of Greenwater River in a kayak. Lost Creek is a great place to have a look at; a brilliant site to camp here at Greenwater Trail is Dry Creek Campground. Get wet paddling on White River; a pleasant trip to Government Meadow is a perfect way to spend an afternoon.
