at Greenwater Trail. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows through the wintertime for Greenwater Trail tend to be in the 20's. Greenwater Trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be trekking it in and back out.
The total elevation difference for this wilderness trail is 1,028 feet which is an average number. Greenwater Trail is a relatively wet location frequently with a good deal of precipitation; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain while July is mostly the driest
month. The time needed for this hike is roughly 8 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. There are backpacking and hiking trails all over Washington, and one of those is Greenwater Trail in Pierce County.

Dry Creek Campground is a perfect campground nearby; unsurprisingly Lost Creek is a pretty stream that is worth visiting. Greenwater Trail beyond doubt is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. Don't forget to take a great little spree to Meadow Creek. Man, is there
plenty of amusing stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Stay the night at Morse Creek Campground, and a great location to check out nearby is Windy Gap. Government Meadow is a nice site, and there are some good whitewater spots on White River. Some wonderful nature is available in White River Ranger District, and there's whitewater on Greenwater River for all you adrenaline people.
