Greenwater Trail is a wet site that gets a large amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that rains
    the most, and the driest of the months is July. With its 9.2 miles of walking distance; it's considered a longer walk. Throughout the summer highs here at Greenwater Trail reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures
at Greenwater Trail dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This backpacking trail is many miles long with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it an outstanding wilderness trail for experienced trekkers in fine shape. There is only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry trek it normally. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in site. When you're here in Washington trekking along one of its wilderness hiking trails never gets boring. There are so many wilderness trails in this region. You  
should count on this hike taking about 8 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Far from society you hit upon Greenwater Trail, and backpacking along this backcountry trail is very cool. Greenwater Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,028 feet which is an average number. Now this hiking trail is pretty long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Each wilderness hiking trail in Washington is well worth a walk. There's not much difference in elevation along Greenwater Trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your walk.

Briefly about the general area:
Some nearby water includes Lost Creek, and a pleasant spree to Government Meadow is a perfect way to spend an afternoon. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a perfect time. Getting to Meadow Creek from Greenwater Trail is simple, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on White River.
Windy Gap is a great spot to visit close to Greenwater Trail, and a good location to camp here at Greenwater Trail is Morse Creek Campground. So many exciting things close to Greenwater Trail, clearly phenomenal. Get dripping wet paddling on Greenwater River. This is a really good river. Not far from Greenwater Trail you can enjoy the trees of White River Ranger District, and Greenwater Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Dry Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground.
