  We all need to get out in nature once in a while, and Granite Trail in Okanogan County, Washington is just the location. Backpacking here in Washington is the great thing to do. Granite Trail is situated a relatively long tour from Wenatchee, but it's one of those locations where trekking is perfect. Every Washington hiking and backpacking trail is lovely in its own way. The total elevation difference for Granite Trail is 4,474 feet which is higher than average. Backcountry hiking in Washington is such a glorious thing to do. Some parts of Granite Trail
    are much higher up than other parts of the hiking and backpacking trail which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the hiking and backpacking trail. Hiking trails like this one here in the Northern Cascade Range are a glorious way
to explore these peaks. Granite Trail is 11 miles long; it's considered a longer hike. During the warm months at Granite Trail highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows at Granite Trail during the winter typically dip into the 10's. This is a long hiking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Now, this is roughly a 1.5-day backcountry hike, so it's a brilliant thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. Don’t forget to check for any current  
restrictions or closures before you go. This is just one of a large number of wilderness hiking trails in this area. This backpacking and hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be trekking it in and back out. This backcountry trail is many miles long having an average number of uphill miles which makes this wilderness hiking trail perfect for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Washington has plenty of great hiking and backpacking trails, and Granite Trail in Okanogan County is one of them. Granite Trail is pretty arid generally; December is the month that gets the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. This hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go.

Briefly about the general area:
There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. It's always splendid to go to Salmon Falls, and some nearby water includes Little Granite Creek. Take a little spree to Shrew Creek if you're here at Granite Trail, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Methow River.
Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the vicinity of Granite Trail. While you're here at Granite Trail it's a brilliant idea to check out South Fork Meadows. There's so much to do here at Granite Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Rock Lakes Campground is a perfect place for that. Muckamuck Pass is in the vicinity of Granite Trail and is certainly a fine place to visit. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Granite Trail has to offer, you can camp at Loup Loup Campground.
