During the warm months at Granite Trail highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows at Granite Trail during the winter typically dip into the 10's. This is a long hiking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. is the month that gets the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. This hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go.
Briefly about the general area: There's no way anyone can get bored
here in the Northern Cascade Range. It's always splendid to go to Salmon Falls, and some nearby water includes Little Granite Creek. Take a little spree to Shrew Creek if you're here at Granite Trail, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater
paddling on Methow River. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the vicinity of Granite Trail. While you're here at Granite Trail it's a brilliant idea to check out South Fork Meadows. There's so much to do here at Granite Trail that you need to camp here for
a while, Rock Lakes Campground is a perfect place for that. Muckamuck Pass is in the vicinity of Granite Trail and is certainly a fine place to visit. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Granite Trail has to offer, you can camp at Loup Loup Campground.
