Backpacking and hiking trails are tremendous and plentiful in Washington, and one of those is Golden Harvest Trail in Ferry County. Golden Harvest Trail is a one trailhead backpacking trail, so in and out is the way to backcountry trek it normally.
    This backpacking trail has a total elevation difference of 742 feet which is lower than average. Being 5.2 miles long it's a mid length hike. Every Washington wilderness hiking trail has its own unique loveliness. Sometimes this backpacking trail gets really dry, so make sure you
check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. This is one of a very small number of backcountry hiking trails in this neighborhood. This backpacking trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. For the duration of the days of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Golden Harvest Trail; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Golden Harvest  
Trail. No chance of getting bored in Washington if you like the fresh air. You should count on this backcountry trek taking about 4.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. You spend the whole hike in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your hike. This trail is a normal length trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a great backcountry hiking trail for the average person looking for a great adventure. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Golden Harvest Trail gets very little precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Golden Harvest Trail is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Long Lake Campground II is a tremendous local campground, and swing by Scatter Creek it's a wonderful location to check out. This river is a great place to visit.
There's so much to do here at Golden Harvest Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Ferry Lake Campground is a great site for that; do pop by Golden Harvest Creek since you're here at Golden Harvest Trail.
