someone to pick you up at the other end. Different parts of this wilderness hiking trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Goat Peak Trail is a pretty wet place regularly with a lot of rainfall; January
is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. This is a region covered with lots of backcountry trails. At Goat Peak Trail through the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, regularly in the 40's. High
temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Goat Peak Trail fall into the 20's. You'll have got to go far from Ellensburg to get to Goat Peak Trail, but hiking it is delightful merriment any time.

about the general area: This river is so perfect. Cole Creek is a great local stream, and some of the water nearby flows, like Greek Creek. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is so good! Goat Peak Trail is a great place to camp, Lake Easton
Resort and Club is a great place, and glide down the rapids of Box Canyon Creek in a kayak. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Goat Peak Trail has to offer, you can camp at R V Town, and get drenched paddling on Little Naches River.
