Peak Trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backcountry trail. Even though this is not a very long backcountry trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in
case something happens. High temperatures at Goat Peak Trail through the warm days of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and night lows through the wintertime for Goat Peak Trail tend
to be in the 20's. This is just one of a large number of backcountry hiking trails in this neighborhood.
Briefly about the general area: There's so much to do here at Goat Peak Trail that you need to camp here for a while, R V Town is a tremendous spot for that, and
whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Box Canyon Creek. Visit Cole Creek while you're here at Goat Peak Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Goat Peak Trail has to offer, you can camp at Lake Easton Resort and Club.
You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Greek Creek is a pleasant place to stop by, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Little Naches River.
