Washington hiking trails - Glacier Ridge Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Snohomish County       Every Washington hiking trail has its own unique splendor. Washington is a splendid outdoors state. Glacier Ridge Trail is many miles long having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough wilderness trail for advanced hikers looking for a great challenge. Being 14.2 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry hike. Briefly about the general area: Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. If you came for an overnight stay Owl Creek Campground is a great location to camp, and Fire Creek Pass is a nice place to visit. Some close by water includes Glacier Creek, and Buckeye Basin is right here at Glacier Ridge Trail. Paddling on Sloan Creek is so much fun; Fourteenmile Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at. So many amusing things close to Glacier Ridge Trail, definitely astonishing. It's always fine to go to Sulphur Hot Springs, and Downey Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. Sulphur Creek Campground is a great local campground, and Green Mountain Pasture is a glorious place here at Glacier Ridge Trail.
