Being 2.8 miles long it's a shorter type walk. This is not a very long wilderness hiking trail but it's always pleasant to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. The hiking and backpacking trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your walk. Gee Point Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,343 feet which is an average number. This walk shouldn't take more than 2.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out hike.
