Washington hiking trails - Flip-O-Way Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Pierce County

   
  Can’t wait to get out in the fresh air, if you happen to be in Pierce County of Washington, Flip-O-Way Trail is a great local great outdoors trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. While visiting this neighborhood in Washington it's a magnificent idea to go backpacking too. Going for a backcountry trek here in Washington is an outstanding way to spend some time. Washington has plenty of great backpacking trails, and among these are Flip-O-Way Trail in Pierce County. All the water falling down from the sky makes Flip-O-Way Trail a wet location; during the
    month of November you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Flip-O-Way Trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Every Washington backpacking
trail has its own unique loveliness. Even though this is not a very long backcountry trail it's always magnificent to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. Flip-O-Way Trail is a two ended hiking trail with two trailheads, so backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. High temperatures at Flip-O-Way Trail through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at  
Flip-O-Way Trail temperatures sink to the 30's. Flip-O-Way Trail is not very in the vicinity of Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue at all, but great outdoors trails like these are wonderful. This backcountry hike shouldn't take more than 4.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Flip-O-Way Trail is a normal length backpacking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a great hiking trail for the average person looking for a great adventure. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. This hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 2,399 feet which is about average. With its 5.4 miles of walking distance it's an average length backcountry hiking trail. Backcountry trekking here in the Northern Cascade Range is a magnificent way to explore these summits. The number of hiking trails in this vicinity is not very high.

Briefly about the general area:
White River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you're here, you might as well explore Martin Gap. If you came to camp White River Campground is a delightful place to do that.
Whitewater paddling is perfect on Clearwater River - White River Tributary, and let's not forget Viola Creek which is a stream that you may come across while you're here. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Pinochle Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. There's so much to do here at Flip-O-Way Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Ipsut Creek Campground is a great place for that.
