in spot. This backcountry hiking trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Flip-O-Way Trail sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November while July is regularly the driest month. This is one of a very small number of backcountry trails in this vicinity. The total elevation difference for Flip-O-Way Trail is 2,399 feet which is an average number. The length of Flip-O-Way Trail is about average with an average amount of climbing  
distance which makes this backcountry trail tremendous for the average backcountry trekker looking for an amusing adventure. Flip-O-Way Trail is 5.4 miles long it's a mid length trek. During the summer at Flip-O-Way Trail temperatures are usually in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Flip-O-Way Trail dip into the 30's. The picturesque backpacking trails of the Northern Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these mountains. Each one of the many great outdoors trails of Washington is well worth a backcountry trek. You should count on this backcountry hike taking about 4.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster.

Briefly about the general area:
Paddling on White River is so much fun; why not a little side spree to Pinochle Creek. Having a wonderful time in the Northern Cascade Range is painless. Viola Creek is a brilliant local stream, and Flip-O-Way Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Ipsut Creek Campground is a great local campground.
Near Flip-O-Way Trail you locate Martin Gap which is a wonderful site to stop at, and a wonderful site to camp here at Flip-O-Way Trail is White River Campground. Get soaked paddling on Clearwater River - White River Tributary.
