Flats Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole wilderness trail. This backpacking and hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 581 feet which is lower than average. With its 4 miles of
walking distance it's a mid length backcountry walk. This is not a very long wilderness trail but it's always magnificent to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. The time needed for this walk is roughly 3.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit
slower and some a bit faster. Great outdoors hiking trails for backcountry backpacking, and backpacking can be found all over Washington; Fishhook Flats Trail in Kittitas County is one of them. This is a vicinity covered with lots of hiking trails.

of year. Take a little tour to Lodgepole Creek if you're here at Fishhook Flats Trail; you can stay the night at Whispering Pines RV Park and RV Center. Cle Elum River is a great whitewater spot close to Fishhook Flats Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Fishhook Flats Trail has to offer, you can camp at Mountain River Trails Camping.
