With its 4 miles of walking distance it's a mid length backcountry trek. Fishhook Flats Trail has a total elevation difference of 581 feet, and that is lower than average. There's not much difference in elevation along the wilderness hiking trail which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end which means you have the option of trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Fishhook Flats Trail is not that long but it's always tremendous to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. The time needed for this backcountry trek is roughly 3.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that.
