Washington hiking trails - Fire Creek Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Snohomish County       Going for a backcountry walk here in Washington is always an amusing thing to do. Fire Creek Trail is a trail of good length having     an average number of uphill miles which makes it a good hiking trail for experienced walkers in good shape. Much rain falls at Fire Creek Trail; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month is July. This hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be backcountry hiking it in and back out. Each wilderness hiking trail in Washington has something unique to offer. This is a long backpacking and hiking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Now, this is roughly a 3.5-day walk, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. This backcountry hiking trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep   in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. The pretty trails of the Northern Cascade Range are a very good way to see these summits. All through the warm days of summer at Fire Creek Trail temperatures are generally in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Fire Creek Trail. Briefly about the general area: The trees of Darrington Ranger District are a perfect source of shade on hot summer days; Fire Creek Pass is another wonderful site to have a look at close by. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. A pleasant visit to Buckeye Basin is a great way to spend an afternoon, and Gibson Falls is an inspiring place to go to during your stay. Fire Creek Trail is a great location to visit for more than one day, Owl Creek Campground is a great location to camp nearby; Green Mountain Pasture is a wonderful location any time of year. So many fun things in the Northern Cascade Range, just impressive. A short spree to Sulphur Hot Springs is always worthwhile, and of course Glacier Creek flows through this neighborhood. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in the neighborhood of Fire Creek Trail. Stay the night at Sulphur Creek Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Downey Creek offers some wonderful whitewater. If you're here at Fire Creek Trail, you could stop at Fourteenmile Creek, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Sloan Creek.
