Washington hiking trails - Finney Peak Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Skagit County

   
  Gotta get out of the city man, and Finney Peak Trail in Skagit County, Washington is just the place. Washington has lots of outdoors pastimes. Finney Peak Trail is situated a relatively long trip from Mount Vernon-Anacortes, but it is one of many wonderful wilderness hiking trails in this vicinity. Finney Peak Trail is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before
    you go. There is only one trailhead, so you'll be hiking it in and back out. There are not too many backcountry trails in this neighborhood. The length of this backcountry trail is about average with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough backcountry
trail for advanced backcountry walkers looking for a great challenge. Summer at Finney Peak Trail comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Finney Peak Trail. Each one of the many backpacking trails of Washington is lovely in its own way. Being 6.2 miles long it's a mid length backcountry trek. Hiking here in Washington is so much fun. Finney Peak Trail has a total elevation difference of 2,658 feet which  
is higher than average. Washington has plenty of glorious backpacking trails, and one of those is Finney Peak Trail in Skagit County. Different parts of this great outdoors hiking trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Backcountry backpacking here in the Northern Cascade Range is a really magnificent way to spend quality time in nature. This is a backcountry trail that is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 5.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster.

You'll need more than a day to discover everything Finney Peak Trail has to offer, you can camp at Creekside Camping. Take a little journey to Clendenen Creek while you're here at Finney Peak Trail; get wet paddling on Stillaguamish River - North Fork.
So many enjoyable things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too good to be true. Getting to Gee Creek from Finney Peak Trail is uncomplicated. There's so much to do here at Finney Peak Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Baker Lake Resort is a good spot for that. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Finney Creek, and Mount Baker National Forest is a forest that you can go to.
