Washington hiking trails - Fifes Ridge Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Yakima County

   
  There are many fine hiking and backpacking trails in Washington, and among these are Fifes Ridge Trail in Yakima County. Fifes Ridge Trail is not very near Ellensburg at all, but it is a really fine trail. Each one of the many hiking and backpacking trails of Washington is well worth a walk. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Fifes Ridge Trail get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Fifes Ridge Trail nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime
    are in the 20's. This is a two-ended great outdoors trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Being 26 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry trek. This walk should take you about
4 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. There are so many hiking and backpacking trails in this neighborhood. Washington has so much to offer the outdoors lovers. Some parts of this backpacking trail are much higher up than other parts of the backpacking trail, and that means that some parts of the backpacking trail could be very different from other parts of it. Keep in mind that this is a long backpacking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Trekking in Washington

Fifes Ridge Trail is a wet location that gets a lot of precipitation; January is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

There's a forest here at Fifes Ridge Trail called Naches Ranger District; you must positively dedicate some time to Lost Meadow if you're here at Fifes Ridge Trail. Do set aside some time for Mathew Meadow while you're here at Fifes Ridge Trail; paddling on American River is so much fun.
All year is a delightful time in the Northern Cascade Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. A short trip to Soda Springs is always worthwhile, and don't forget to take a splendid little spree to Hall Creek. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Cedar Springs is an inspiring location to stop at during your stay, and glide down the rapids of Bumping River in a kayak. If you came to camp Soda Springs Campground is a wonderful place to do that, and a good location is Pleasant Valley.
If only every location had this much outdoors fun things, what a great earth it would be. There's so much to do here at Fifes Ridge Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Needle Campground is a glorious spot for that, and why not take a look at close by Chipmunk Creek if you're here at Fifes Ridge Trail.
