    Fawn Lake Trail in Cowlitz County, Washington is a nice place to go. Being 2.8 miles long it's a shorter type backcountry hike. Fawn Lake Trail is a two ended great outdoors hiking trail with two trailheads, so backcountry hiking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a
ride back. Fawn Lake Trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. The hiking trails of the Northern Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these summits. Every Washington wilderness hiking trail is well worth a walk. The total elevation difference for Fawn Lake Trail is 361 feet which is a lower than average number. You should count on this backcountry walk taking about 2.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. The trail stays roughly  
within the same elevation zone the whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. Summertime highs at Fawn Lake Trail regularly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. Through the wintertime this spot gets highs in the 40's while Fawn Lake Trail night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. There are not too many backcountry hiking trails in this vicinity. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Fawn Lake Trail is a very short hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a wonderful backcountry hiking trail for the average person looking for a wonderful adventure.

All year is a tremendous time in the Northern Cascade Range if you fancy the outdoors. Mount Rainier National Park is one of the destinations close to Fawn Lake Trail that are brilliant to go to. There's so much to do here at Fawn Lake Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Merrill Lake Campground is a good site for that.
