about the general area: So many exciting things to do in the Olympic Mountains, not sufficient time. Bowman Creek is a wonderful local stream, and a nice place to camp here at Elwha River Trail is Heart of the Hills Campground. This location, the Olympic Mountains, has so much
outdoors exciting things. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Service Falls; there are some great whitewater spots on Elwha River. Winslow Spring is an inspiring location to explore while here; Angeles Point is rather close. Don’t forget to go to Press Valley while
you're here at Elwha River Trail, and Olympic National Park is a wonderful local destination. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Elwha River Trail. Dorothy Creek is a great place to stop at, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone
but if it's for you then, we recommend Elwha River. Do set aside some time for Elwha Basin while you're here at Elwha River Trail; a great site to stop by is Bear Pass. Some brilliant nature is available in Soleduck Ranger District, and camping at Altair Campgrounds is always a splendid experience.
