Washington hiking trails - East Crater Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Skamania County

   
  When you're here in Washington backcountry backpacking along one of its hiking trails is a tremendous idea. Washington is a nice outdoors state. East Crater Trail is to be found a quite lengthy tour from Hood River, but when you spend some time backcountry hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. East Crater Trail is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. This hiking trail is a very long hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this wilderness hiking trail great for hard core backpackers looking
    for adventure. East Crater Trail is a wet spot that gets much rainfall; throughout the month of December you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Every hiking trail in Washington is well worth a backcountry walk. This hike
should take you about 1.5 days, so it's a good thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. Can’t wait to get out in the great outdoors, East Crater Trail in Skamania County, Washington is such a wonderful place. East Crater Trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to walk it normally. There are so many wilderness hiking trails in this area. Some parts of East Crater Trail are much higher up than other parts of the wilderness hiking trail, and that means that some parts of the wilderness hiking trail could be very different from other  
parts of it. Wilderness hiking trails like this one here in the Northern Cascade Range are a very nice way to see these mountains. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. For the duration of the days of summer at East Crater Trail highs are ordinarily in the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at East Crater Trail temperatures drop to the 30's. Washington has plenty of tremendous hiking trails, and East Crater Trail in Skamania County is one of them. Being 11.2 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry walk. East Crater Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,609 feet which is about average.

Briefly about the general area:
Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at East Crater Trail. A short spree to Lost Creek Spring is always worthwhile. Cultus Creek Campground is a good campground nearby, and a quick visit to Spring Creek is without doubt a great idea.
A pleasant tour to Indian Heaven is a good way to spend an afternoon, and glide down the rapids of Lewis River - North Fork in a kayak. Forlorn Lakes Campground is a wonderful local campground; South Prairie is a gorgeous spot any time of year. This spot, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors exciting things. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Panther Creek; needless to say Dry Creek flows through this neighborhood.
