trail is many miles long with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a splendid trail for experienced trekkers in great shape. A lengthy journey parts Wenatchee from Duncan Hill Trail, but it sure is a a great backcountry trail. Duncan Hill Trail has only one trailhead,
so in and out is the way to walk it normally. The wilderness trails of the Northern Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these peaks. This backpacking trail has a total elevation difference of 5,038 feet which is a higher than average number.
Briefly about the general
area: That right there is heaps of cool things already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. Everybody loves Klone Meadow, and Entiat River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. Saska Pass is a tremendous spot to spend some time at, and the trees of
Entiat Ranger District are a glorious source of shade on hot summer days. Whitewater paddling is good on Entiat River, and needless to say Duncan Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth stopping at. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Duncan
Hill Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Duncan Hill Trail has to offer, you can camp at Spruce Grove Campground, and why not a little side tour to Shetipo Creek. Not far from Duncan Hill Trail you come across Twin Harbor. Be careful coming to the Northern
Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go home again. Don't leave Duncan Hill Trail without first paying a visit to Entiat Falls, and Pond Meadow is a brilliant place here at Duncan Hill Trail. It's always delightful to take a look at Snowshoe Spring, and you can stay the night at Three Creek Campground.
