the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter this site gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Driveway Butte Trail. It's a long journey from Wenatchee to Driveway Butte Trail, but backcountry hiking it is always
cool. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. At parts of the year this vicinity sees very little rain, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out.
Briefly about
the general area: Camping at Klipchuck Campground is always a wonderful experience, and Cedar Falls is a wonderful site to pop by while you're at Driveway Butte Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. Camping is available at Ballard Campground,
and you can run the rapids of Lost River. Some close by water includes Lost River, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Methow River. You are close to Vista Point while you're here at Driveway Butte Trail, and Varden Creek is close to Driveway Butte Trail and is always a pleasure to take a look at. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Driveway Butte Trail.
