Hiking and backpacking trails are great and plentiful in Washington, and one of those is Divide Trail in King County. Keep in mind that this is a long great outdoors trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Hiking here in the Northern Cascade Range is a nice way to explore these highlands. amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough backpacking and hiking trail for advanced walkers looking for a brilliant challenge. Through the days of summer at Divide Trail highs are ordinarily in the 70's while overnight lows are mostly in the 40's. High temperatures
during the wintertime are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Divide Trail are in the 30's.
Briefly about the general area: So much exciting stuff to do at Divide Trail, so little time. Camping at The Dalles Campground is always a glorious experience,
and a nice site to camp here at Divide Trail is Dry Creek Campground. Paddling on White River is so much fun; Deadman Flat is a great site here at Divide Trail. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Foss Creek is near Divide Trail and is always a delight to check
out; Mule Spring is an inspiring location to explore during your stay. Whitewater paddling is great on Greenwater River, and there's a magnificent forest called White River Ranger District. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more exciting stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Take a little trip to Champion Creek since you're here at Divide Trail, and Green Canyon is also a fine place to discover.
