trails in this region. The total elevation difference for this great outdoors trail is 3,406 feet, and that is higher than average. Here in the magnificent state of Washington backpacking is always a cool thing to do. Some parts of Divide Trail are much higher up than other parts
of the backpacking trail, and that means that some parts of the backpacking trail could be very different from other parts of it. All the water falling down from the sky makes Divide Trail a wet spot; during December this neighborhood sees the most rain while July is ordinarily
the driest month. During the days of summer here at Divide Trail, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Divide Trail tend to be in the 30's.
Briefly
about the general area: Take a side tour to Champion Creek; if you came to camp Dry Creek Campground is a splendid spot to do that. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is excellent!. Some wonderful nature is available in White River Ranger
District, and you can run the rapids of White River. Be careful coming to Divide Trail, you might not ever wanna go home again. A short spree to Mule Spring is always worthwhile; a tremendous place is Green Canyon. You have to unquestionably dedicate some time to Deadman Flat while
you're here at Divide Trail; swing by Foss Creek it's a pleasant site to check out. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Divide Trail that you need to camp here for a while, The Dalles Campground is a good place for that; there's whitewater on Greenwater River for all you adrenaline junkies.
